THE bOLd and THE BEAUTiFuL

Ooooh HOLLY FULTON. How I do love thou hard-edged Art Deco inspired apparel...

BASSO AND BROOKE a/w 09/10.
Their giant pixelated and shadow-lace prints are very inticing, especially on the matt fabric...

MARY KANTRANTZOU a/w 08/09 - s/s 09 - a/w 09/10.
Giant geometric jewellry and perfume-bottle printed shifts in exotic colours. Delicious...

DAVID KOMA. A further developer of Christopher Kane's graduation ethos, who reawakened us to the beauty of tight, mini, stretchy, and eMbELLiShed [I still find that collection - all those wonderfully coloured textures in one place - a source of excitement]... David Koma works on a similar magpie instinct. There's a definate feeling that David raided a roadside garage to furnish his LBDs with shiney shiney tubing and electricital wiring...

And finally, if you find all this to be glorious eye candy, but can't afford/ don't have occasion to consider yourself wearing the above clothing, then venture into the seductive deco inspired world of VICE AND VANITY ... [or like me, fantasise about an incredible perspex and print layered collaboration between Vice and Mary or Holly]

Good Lord! All that screen-capping must have made that my most exhausting post yet. Hmm. Really feel the need for a Ben and Jerrys shaped reward!....
